Our Mission

Everyone has obstacles throughout their daily life, but for some it is a task to cope with and overcome such obstacles. Being overwhelmed can impact how one views oneself and how one interacts with others. Such feelings can result in aggressions toward others and damage personal relationships. At Seedlinks Behavior Management L.L.C., our focus is on empowering our clients to function through life’s adversities and building healthy relationships. We provide a support system and provide classes on effective parenting, curving domestic violence and conflict resolution which enable our clients to be more productive members of their family and in society.

Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior as part of a systematic pattern of power and control perpetrated by one intimate partner against another.

  • In 2010, Louisiana ranked 4th in the nation for femicide; 2/3 of these murders were committed using guns
  • There has been at least one domestic homicide in every parish in Louisiana.

Identifying cues that result in domestic violence and using techniques to discourage said behavior are two effective methods of focus in our domestic violence class.

Parenting

Parenting or child rearing is the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social, financial, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. We provide clients with skills that help them to foster a stronger foundation for better parenting.
