SeedLinks Behavior Management, L.L.C is recruiting Licensed Counselors (LPC), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) for full or part-time positions. Qualified candidates will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. The position allows for flexible work hours.

Requirements:

  • MUST be licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana.
  • Have a willingness to work with children, adolescents, and adults from all backgrounds.
  • Have a commitment to learning research based interventions.
  • Believe the world can be changed, one family at a time.
  • Spanish speaking skills highly desired but NOT required.
  • Substance Abuse experience/certification highly desired but NOT required.

Mental Health Professionals:

SeedLinks Behavior Management is seeking dedicated Mental Health Counselors to serve the clients in our Shreveport Location.

Specific roles of the Mental Health Professionals include:

  • Mental Health Counseling and psychosocial skills training to individuals & Families.
  • Providing direct therapeutic counseling services to clients.
  • Collaborating with our social services team to deliver the best possible comprehensive care.
  • Establishing and maintaining empowering, trusting relationships with youth, adults and their families through individual, family, and group counseling, and skills training activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Counselors will be responsible for providing individual, family, and/or group counseling to children, adolescents and adults.
  • Completing required documentation and reports including session notes, treatment plans, client outcome questionnaires, and discharge summaries.
  • Conducting intake assessments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in social work, counseling or psychology from an accredited college or university. Experience providing therapeutic services to children and families preferred. As a Mental Health Therapist you will apply your experience to address and care for the needs of our clients.

Specific duties:

  • Evaluating clients' physical or mental condition, based on review of client information
  • Maintaining confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment
  • Assessing patients for risk of suicide attempts
  • Encouraging clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives, helping them to develop insight into themselves or their relationships
  • Collecting information about clients through interviews, observation, or tests
  • Counseling clients, individually or in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making changes
  • Guiding clients in the development of skills or strategies for dealing with their problems Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Coordinating with collateral contacts such as primary care physician, school, employment, courts, etc.
